Regulations concerning the compilation of the personal information

 

1. The law prescribes that the State agency shall set up a system in order to compile any personal information of a person to the extent

    that it is relevant and necessary for its operation. Such information shall be cancelled when not in need

2. The State agency shall use its best endeavour to collect personal information directly from the information owner

3. There shall be a compulsory announcement on the vital or necessary items for the compilation of the personal information which items

    shall be published in the Royal Gazette as follows

    - Categories of person whose information should be compiled

    - Types of person and his personal information

    - Manners of the use of information

    - Methods and procedures for the information owner to request for inspection of his personal information

    - Methods and procedures for the information alteration

    - Sources of information

4. The State agency shall always have to create information safe-keeping and monitoring system.
