1. Objective
The website of the Office of the Government Information Commission has been created to provide services for accessing information to the general public and personnel under the office’s jurisdiction. The Secretary-General of the Prime Minister’s Office states that the use of the website by users will be subject to the following terms and conditions. Users are therefore advised to carefully study the terms and conditions for using the website and/or any other terms and agreements provided by the Office of the Government Information Commission on the website before accessing the services. It shall be considered that the user has agreed to comply with the terms and conditions of service as outlined. If the user does not wish to be bound by these terms and conditions, please kindly discontinue accessing and using this website immediately.

 

2. Terms and Conditions of Website Use

2.1 Users may receive, access, create, send, or display information such as data files, written text, computer software, music, audio files, or other sounds, photos, videos, or other images as part of the services or through the use of the services, hereinafter referred to as "Content."

2.2 The content presented to users may be protected by intellectual property rights of the content owner. Users do not have the right to modify, alter, distribute, transfer, or create derivative works based on such content, whether in whole or in part, unless explicitly authorized by the content owner.

2.3 Users may encounter inappropriate or offensive content that could cause dissatisfaction, and they do so at their own risk.

2.4 The Office of the Government Information Commission reserves the right to screen, review, modify, refuse, or remove any inappropriate content from the services. The Office of the Government Information Commission may provide tools for content screening in a clear manner, in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and government rules and relevant regulations.

2.5 The Office of the Government Information Commission may temporarily or permanently suspend or discontinue services to any specific user if such services affect other users or conflict with the law, without prior notice to the user.

2.6 In the event of suspension or discontinuation of services as per Section 2.5, the user will no longer be able to access the services, view their account details, access any document files, or any other content stored in the user's account.

2.7 In the event that the Office of the Government Information Commission permanently discontinues the services or cancels services to a user, the Office of the Government Information Commission will not be liable for any content stored in the user's account, and no prior notice will be given to the user.

 

3. Rights, Duties, and Responsibilities of the User

3.1 The user shall provide accurate, true, and up-to-date information about themselves, such as personal identification details or contact information, as part of the registration process or ongoing use of the services provided by the Office of the Government Information Commission.

3.2 The user shall use the services of this website for purposes authorized by the terms and conditions of the Office of the Government Information Commission and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and rules and generally accepted practices.

3.3 The user shall not access or attempt to access any service through any means other than those provided by the Office of the Government Information Commission, including the use of automated methods (e.g., scripts), unless explicitly authorized by the Office of the Government Information Commission.

3.4 The user shall not do or participate in any act that disrupts or interferes with the services of the Office of the Government Information Commission, including its servers and networks connected to the services.

3.7 The user shall be solely responsible for any damage caused to any person, including the Office of the Government Information Commission, due to a violation of the terms and conditions.

The interpretation and enforcement of these terms of service shall be governed by Thai law.
